During my recent stay at Chambres D'Hôtes Coeur de Bastié, I embarked on a truly delightful escape in the serene Aveyron region. Yves and Blandine greeted us with such warmth, and their beloved dog, Tao, added to the welcoming atmosphere. The evening meal was a triumph of local cuisine; I savored the Confit de Canard, homemade cheeses, and a delectable Tiramisu adorned with raspberries and blackberries, all paired with excellent local wine—an absolute must if you dine here! Our room, a cozy haven with a private entrance, was beautifully decorated, featuring a spacious bathroom that kept us comfortable and cool. Breakfast each morning was a feast of fresh breads, homemade yoghurts, and decadent jams, providing a perfect start to our adventures, which included hiking in the stunning countryside and exploring the nearby Viaduct at Millau. Located just a short drive from the center of Trémouilles, this spot is an ideal base for those looking to explore the enchanting landscapes. While the peaceful setting offers relaxation, those planning to stay should definitely plan for dinner, as Blandine's cooking is worth every moment spent at the table!
